My first time at the track ever, was in Englishtown NJ in 2001.  I was quite nervous when it came time for my first run.  Lets just say, with my car completely stock, with more then a 1/2 tank of gas and my subwoofers and spare tire still in my car, i ran a 16.034.  Had i taken out the excess weight of the excess gasonline (its best to go to the track with less then a quarter tank) my subs and spare tire, i would have been in the high 15's without a doubt.  Plus, my 60 foot times were pretty bad, i wasnt getting any traction.

3/02
My Personal Best Quarter mile time is 15.320 at 88.47 mph.
That was with a pretty bad 60 foot time of 2.368...which could have been much better.  Next time ill be lowering my tire pressure more then 24 psi, which is where i had it at.

Mods include:  Cone air intake, Bosal Exaust with 2.25 inch custom piping, Advanced timing, and Maf reground.

I have since installed a custom cold air intake with the help of my best friend Chris, and my friend Jim.  I will be heading back to the track to see what kinda  results i yield with the cold air setup over the warm air.

Im aiming for a 15 flat or even high 14's would make me exceedingly happy!!  Attaining that with just intake, exaust and timing would be awesome!!

On wednesday September 11th, I will be heading back to the track again.  You all know that this is the anniversary of the tragedy of last years attack.  However, as a country, we rose to the occasion and have come back even stronger.  I, as well as my boy chris (white se-r), his bro Marc (red nx2k) my friend Jim (blue nx2k) my buddy Joey (87 Mustang gt) and a dude who drives an rsx-type s will be racing in honor of the lives that were lost.  Since our last track visit.  Chris and I have both installed headers on our cars.  He opted for the pacesetter and i went with the Hotshot Gen 5.  The only other mod i have done that might help my 60 foot times are new kumho tires and a new better grabbing clutch.  Chris and I are both very hopeful to hit the mid to high 14's provided the weather is cool and we get some good launches.  I will post an update on thursday
