All about some of the best movies to date!!

The Matrix...In my opinion one of the best movies ever made. Stars Keanu Reeves and Lawrence Fishburne who star as two men
out to find there true destiny. This movie contains all kinds of groundbreaking special effects and action sequences that
will only be mimicked in movies to come. It sets the standard by which all action movies should follow after. I recommend
this movie on DVD with a 5.1 Channel surround sound system if possible. Its the only way the movie can truly envelop you.

One of the best action/comedies would have to be Rush Hour...

Rush Hour, starring Jackie Chan as a Hong Kong Police Officer (just like in every other one of his movies) and Chris Tucker,
a loud-mouth Los Angeles Cop who team up to get back the kidnapped daughter of the Chinese Consul. This movie was great from
jackie chan's awesome action sequences, which are always new and different, to the comedy element of Chris Tucker. They fit
perfectly together in this movie. Whoever cast them should get an award for doing such a good job. This movie is great and
its one of my favorites simply becuase Jackie Chan is the man when it comes to martial arts action movies, and Chris Tucker
was actually pretty hilarious. This movie is fun to watch and laugh out loud funny at the same time. The sequel was just
as good, if not better.
And then of course to compliment Rush Hour, is Rush Hour 2....

Rush Hour 2, the sequel to the very popular original. Rush hour 2 teams up Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker once again, but instead
of being in the states, the setting is Hong Kong. I think I might actually like this movie better then the first one. Chris
Tucker and Jackie Chan are the best partners in a movie then I've seen in a long time. This movie has more action sequences
then the first movie as well. The first movie was hinging more on character development, the sequel seems to focus on much
more action scenes since we already know the characters. This movie was a lot of fun to watch; combining Jackie Chan's fighting
style with Chris Tuckers comedy, has proven to work a second time, but in a way even better then the first. I definately
reccomend seeing Rush Hour 2, because in a world of usually dismal sequels, this movie comes out on top.
This next movie is one of the best Action movies of all time....

The Rock, starring Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery. Nic Cage plays an FBI chemical weapons specialist who has to team up with
Sean Connery, who is an escapee of the Rock and a former British Secret Service agent. This movie has some great action sequences
as well as some heart stopping thrills. THe soundtrack is also a perfect compliment to the movie itself. Nic cage and Sean
Connery work very well together, even though its cage who wants to save the world and connery who simply wants to save himself
and be free after imprisonment for over 30 years. The Rock has a great cast and director and producer in Don Simpson and
Jerry Bruckhiemer. The Rock is just one of those great action movies with a hint of drama.
Easily one of the best action/dramas ever made....

The Patriot...starring Mel Gibson as a man who is doing all he can to forget his past and stop a civil war from breaking out.
What can really be said about this movie except for the fact that its just an incredible movie. It was exceptionally written
and produced. The war action is both real looking and graphic for effect. Mel Gibson is just awesome in this movie. He's
out for revenge for the death of his sons, and there is nothing that will get in his way to stop him. This movie is easily
one of my favorites because it combines incredible acting, with heartfelt action sequences and great dialogue. The movie
is an excellent portrayal of ones man's fight to save his family and to exact revenge upon the man who took his sons from
him. This is definately a must see movie. Even better then braveheart in my opinion.
And of course another Epic of a movie...

The Gladiator is another one of those movies that has you applauding at the end. Russel Crowe is simply the man in this movie.
He was a general who became a fugitive after almost being put to death by the next ceasar who hated him. He escaped, and
was made a gladiator to fight for his freedom, and for stardom. This movie is just a great movie. Simply put. The movies
different locations and backdrops are amazing. Russel Crowe does an incredible acting job. The story line is very well written
and planned out to capture the audiences attention and want you to get behind the star of the movie and his quest. I defintately
reccomend picking up the Gladiator, you won't be dissapointed.
An action movie of a different kind....

The Mummy, starring Brendan Frasier as a money hungry treasure hunter who gets caught up in an ancient egyptian curse. This
curse ends up resurrecting a mummy from the dead who wants to become whole again and reak havoc on the world. This movie
has some sweet special effects that seem to be groundbreaking for its time. Its also a movie that ads a touch of comedy to
make it very enjoyable to watch. Its very reminiscent of The Indiana Jones Movies, in terms of action style and the fun factor
of the adventure. Its a great movie that i definately recommend.
And you can't forget some of the all-time great classics....

And of course, theres the Indiana Jones Trilogy....
